The Last American Revolution Begins

Yesterday Americans celebrated "Independence Day." Or at least they celebrated. Surveys indicate most Americans don't really understand the American Revolution or what we're celebrating on the 4th of July.

If Sam Adams, often called "the father of the American Revolution," could see America in 2005, he would be despondent. His idea of America was a land of "Liberty Under God," and we have surrendered liberty for "security" and have made the State our new god.

I would like to be the next Sam Adams. Or maybe I should say "the LAST Sam Adams." I want to foment the LAST American Revolution. I'd like to form a cyber "Committees of Correspondence" to remind Americans of what America means, a place where others can share strategies that Americans are using to bring about "Liberty Under God."

If you think you're more qualified to be "the last Sam Adams," go for it. I'm not in this for a certificate to hand on my wall. I'm just trying to get the ball rolling.

On the home page, www.LibertyUnderGod.com, I introduce the reasons why we must abolish the United States if we are to save America, where "America" is defined as a land of "Liberty Under God."

A sister website, www.LibertyUnderGod.org, explains why we must become a Bible-based Christian "Theocracy" once again. The dot-com website is a gateway to hundreds of webpages that argue for the abolition of the federal government, followed by all other governments. Thus, I argue not for the "separation of church and state," but the abolition of church and state. In sum:

Other links are at right. Maybe I'll get a paid ad someday.

I invite help from volunteers everywhere. I especially need to learn how to put all the bloggeldy-goop that goes at the end of blog posts, such as "trackback," "comments," "posted at," etc., none of which are found below.

This blog is a chronicle of an attempt to foment "the LAST American Revolution." I want to show how my attempts to get involved unfold. Therefore the posts are in chronological order, unlike most blogs where the most recent post is at the top. At this point in time, most people who come to this blog come for the first time, and they should read from the beginning. I will usually post only once a day.

My New Year's Resolution

I got a phone call yesterday from Ann Sulzberg at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. It was just a formality. All she was allowed to say to me, she said, was that the SEC was formed by Congress, and a couple of other lines from the web page linked above, essentially. It says the SEC "Protects Investors and Maintains Market Integrity."

She was responding to a letter I sent. My "New Year's Resolution" this year was to send an average of one letter per day to some government official or employee suggesting that the world would work better if their job were transferred to the private sector. Here is a sample letter. I use the "Capwiz Webtool" from the Traditional Values Coalition which allows me to write to various government agencies.

So far this year I have sent nearly 600 emails. Names. Obviously I can't take out ads on TV or expect the New York Times to give coverage to my views. So I write letters. At this point, writing a letter is about all I know to do. I feel like I'm at least doing something to foment "the LAST American Revolution." Nobody is going to jump on board after reading one letter, but at least I've planted a seed. Next time someone writes a similar letter, the recipient will say, "Hmm, I've heard this before." Enough letters and the idea will appear downright "mainstream."

Freedom Fighters Bomb London

While America slept, Ronald Reagan's "Afghan Freedom Fighters" bombed London.

Last year I had the honor of having dinner at the home of a man from Afghanistan who was imprisoned by the soviet communists during the Afghan war. He is a "moderate muslim" and opposes Osama & Friends. He was there when the CIA armed the Afghan "freedom fighters." (Reagan did not exaggerate when he compared the Afghan rebels with America's Founding Fathers, except that America's Founding Fathers were attempting to preserve a Christian-libertarian Theocracy, and the Afghan "Freedom Fighters" were attempting to preserve a less-libertarian muslim theocracy, much like the muslim theocracy George Bush has created in Iraq.) Moderate muslims warned the CIA that muslim extremists should not be given arms. The CIA ignored the warning, and the seeds of al-Queda were planted. Our webpages on Iraq and Afghanistan explain why the United States government is the creator of world terrorism, and why we must abolish the United States if we are to save America. Every single person who Signed the Constitution and Declaration of Independence would agree, were they to see the news of this morning's bombings, read the links above, and reflect on the antithesis between America's founding charters and the current U.S. federal government.

How America's Founding Fathers dealt with terrorists.

Bureaucrats love their children.

In response to a letter I sent out near "Independence Day" on how America's Founding Fathers would privatize the government, I received the following letter from the Assistant Secretary of the International Trade Administration in the Department of Commerce (ita.doc.gov). I have not altered punctuation, spelling, or capitalization in any way:

You were sure wound up on Ind. Day and no one can doubt your Patriotism. Having said that I do not agree w/privatization aside from the fact that it will never happen my reason,s are simple and based on the wisedom of our forefathers and that is balance. I.E. Cks and balance nosystem is so correct that it suceeds w/o cks and balances .Also you would be suprised at the quality of workthat comes from the people in goverment I come from a 30 year track record of successful manufacturing and the quality of people and the work that they do meets and in many cases exceeds my private sector experiece .thank you for sharing your views and happy Indenpendence day

Americans need to understand that 300 million consumers wield more checks and balances than 435 Congressmen.

I don't need to challenge the idea that bureaucrats in government care deeply about their country and work hard. But the same can be said about workers in the socialist and now-defunct Soviet Union. As the song by Sting puts it, "The Russians love their children too." So did the centurions of Rome and the Pharaohs of Egypt. But those empires collapsed. Their social systems were based on coercion, monopoly and bureaucracy, not "Liberty Under God." The Free Market, not socialism, allows people to become more fully human.

Liberty Under God
is what made America the greatest nation in human history.
For decades there has been a conspiracy to destroy it.
Now you can join a conspiracy to preserve it.
